Rest in Peace Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM

Today, he died. Only 36.

Last year, he survived a plane crash that some didn’t.

He was sober for a good while.  In that time he built a really nice life where he was known not just as a musician with skills-for-days but as a huge-hearted guy who helped a lot of people.

Glamour magazine ran a great piece on his backstory here in 2008.

I don’t know what happened but my thoughts and prayers are with the great many touched by his passing.  Addiction kills more than plane-crashes.

Will MTV air his already in-the-can Intervention-style reality show?
